To a Christian student of Class I, the son or daughter of a Church Worker or Teacher from Neyoor (if such a candidate is not available any Christian Student from Neyoor) getting the highest marks in the H. S. Examination. 

Whitely Scholarship (Rs.8,000): 

To twenty Christian inmates of the College Hostels based on the following: 
Conduct, work, attendance at prayer, Church services, S.C.M. etc. Period of residence in the hostel, pecuniary circumstance and distance between home and hostel.

SCHOLARSHIPS 

GOVERNMENT OF INDIA: Scholarships

1. Government of India Post Matric Scholarships for the Hindu Scheduled Caste Tribe Students whose parent�s income is below Rs. 3000/- per annum. 

2. Government of India Scholarship for the physically handicapped and the blind. 

3. An Ad Hoc Merit Scholarship of Rs.300/- is awarded to H.S. Examination S.C. / S.T. students (Hindu & Christian Converts) who have secured 60% marks in H.S.S. Examination in the first attempt. 

4. National Scholarship for Children of Primary and Secondary School Teachers Students who secure above 60% marks in the Higher Secondary Examination are eligible to apply. Only 60 students will be selected from the state. 

  National loan Scholarship Students who secure marks above 60% in the H.S. Examination and whose parent�s annual income does not exceed Rs.60,000 are eligible to apply. The selection is on the state wise merit basis. 
  The value of the Scholarship is Rs.720/- for UG courses, Rs. 900 for PG course and Rs.1500 for M.Phil. 
  Repayment will start one year after the scholar has begun to earn or three years after completion of the Course, whichever is earlier. 
  Scholarship to children of freedom fighters and political sufferers who have undergone more than six months imprisonment. 
  Dependants of Ex-servicemen can apply through the L.S.B.A. Board. 
  Students studying part I Hindi. They should apply for scholarship to the Government through the Principal consulting the Head of the department of Hindi before the end of July.

STATE GOVERNMENT: Scholarships

1. Each student of B.A. History, Tamil Medium class will get as incentive of Rs.180. 

2. Adi Dravidar Welfare Dept. awards Scholarships to Scheduled Caste, Tribe students including converts whose parent�s annual income does not exceed Rs.12,000/-. 

3. State Govt. Scholarship for physically handicapped and the blind. 

4. Department of Backward Class awards Scholarship to all B.C. and most B.C. students, whose parent�s income does not exceed Rs. 12,000/-. 
Scholarship to Children of Church workers and Non-Teaching staff of this College: 
The total amount available for this Scholarship is Rs.5,000/-
